What I Watched, What You Watched #16

This has been a week of pros and cons for the whole “What I Watched” thing. I only managed to get in three movies this week. However, all three of them have reviews associated with them, including the decent Hacksaw Ridge, the great Moonlight, and Aquarius, which I haven’t reviewed yet, but will be posted sometime in the next few days. It’s a hard one to write about-I haven’t fully made up my mind on it yet. However, I will say it’s a fairly interesting movie at the very least, whether I give it a good review or not.

In terms of television, I also fell a bit behind. I watched the usual AMC horror movie marathon on Halloween, as well as a couple of Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episodes-man, do those hold up. I also watched my usual shows-Atlanta and You’re the Worst-and will probably have a write-up on both as soon as possible. And I ended the week with Girl Meets World and my favorite actor/male celebrity crush, Benedict Cumberbatch, on Saturday Night Live. Oh, and I was also one of those 40 million plus people watching the World Series on Wednesday. I have an open indifference towards baseball-I find it mostly boring, unless you’re in the stadium with a pile of beers on the ground at your feet-but damn, was that exciting. I honestly didn’t care who won, because both teams worked for it and deserved it, but for some reason it feels so good that the Cubs won. I dunno, that’s just my two cents on a sporting event that’s out of my range.

What about you? See any of those great movies in theaters this week? How about DVD? Anything on TV? Did you manage to see Game 7? Let me know in the comments below!

I’m mainly keeping up with crazy ex girlfriend, the good place, and superstore. I finally got around to watching mascots!
