Final Trailer For Laika Entertainment’s ‘Kubo And The Two Strings’

Laika Entertainment is one of the most innovative new companies on the market. Their stop-motion animation work started as contract work for other projects, such as Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, before graduating to their own work. Their first three films were each better than the last, starting with Coraline, continuing with Paranorman and culminating with 2014’s The Boxtrolls. And now, the final trailer has come out for their newest creation, Kubo and the Two Strings.

Set in ancient Japan, the film follows young Kubo, the son of a legendary warrior, who must team up with a series of mystical creatures in order to defeat an ancient warrior. The voice cast features Art Parkinson as Kubo, as well as Charlize Theron, Matthew McConaughey, Rooney Mara, Ralph Fiennes and George Takei.

So far, animation has been the best aspect of this year, which I will be discussing in more detail on Friday, and this has the potential to be another winning children’s film from the company. The trailer is posted below, and you can see Kubo and the Two Strings on August 19, 2016.
