‘It’ Has A New Trailer To Haunt Your Nightmares

Clowns are bullsh*t.

I assume you can guess by that opening (and the title, for that matter) that the trailer for the new adaptation of Stephen King’s It has finally dropped, and yep, it’s as horrifying as you want it to be.

When his brother George is killed, Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Lieberher) and his friends begin to investigate, discovering a terrifying creature that lives in the city of Derry, Maine’s sewers, which feeds off of fear and young children. It’s form of choice is Pennywise the Dancing Clown (Bill Skarsgård), and it is up to the Losers’ Club to stop him.

I guess I’ll see this, because although New Line Cinema fired original/superior director Cary Fukunaga, director Andrés Muscheietti has a clear handle of horror, the cast is good (I love the casting of Stranger ThingsFinn Wolfhard as Richie), and the film has a very strong vibe to it, akin to the aforementioned Things. However, know that I’ll be doing it reluctantly. Because when it comes to clowns, I have one thing to say:
