What I Watched, What You Watched #19

This won’t be a long What I Watched, What You Watched, both because I’m drained from work (I’ve got a fun week of Cyber Monday sales ahead of me) and because I didn’t get a chance to see a whole lot. However, I did manage to get in two movies in theaters, which I hope to have reviewed later this week: Rules Don’t Apply (which wasn’t very good) and Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk (which is better than people say).

At home, I watched Brooklyn for the fourth or fifth time. My God, is that movie charming. Saorise Ronan is absolutely stunning in it, and it’s one of those films that make for excellent Top Three fodder (exactly where it landed on last year’s list).

On TV, I just watched the usual Thanksgiving-time festivities. The Macy’s Parade, the U of M-Ohio State Game, Friends Thanksgiving episodes and Christmas specials all filled my television this year. Oh, and a little thing called Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life. As a massive fan of the original, I can honestly say I was pleased with the final product, albeit with a few issues. You can read my full review here.

What about you? Any good Thanksgiving traditions? Anything new you watched in theaters or at home? Let me know in the comments!
