Hello readers! Yesterday, the Academy announced their nominees for the 93rd Academy Awards, naming 55 films in total to make up their nominees. Now, due to the unprecedented nature of the pandemic, this is the first time in history where the majority of nominees are available to general viewers, whether through streaming services or through VOD rentals.
Therefore, I’ve carefully combed through every streaming service (with some assistance from fellow aficionado Erin Blunt) to find where every film is currently streaming, which ones are short films, and where you can go to watch them. I’ve broken down the answers below, to assist in your Oscars Checklist Completion. And leave a comment below with how many you see before the ceremony – let’s see if anyone can watch them all. Happy viewing, and cheer up! It’s Oscar Season!
